These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Prof, provided by PLEASEPROF PRIVATE LIMITED (202539037D).

By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Prof.

Users under 18 must have parental or guardian permission.

2. Account Registration

You may sign in with:

• Sign in with Apple

• Sign in with Google

You agree to provide accurate information and maintain account security.

3. Use of the App

Prof provides:

• Real-time transcription

• AI summaries and insights

• AI Call mode (two-way voice interaction)

• Meeting mode (voice transcription only)

• Translation features

• Picture-in-Picture management

• Saving and reviewing transcripts

You agree not to:

• Use the App for illegal or unauthorized activities

• Record others without consent (where required by law)

• Misuse or manipulate AI outputs

• Reverse engineer or interfere with the App

4. Audio Processing

The App processes:

Sound playing on your device

Microphone input

Raw audio remains on your device. Only transcribed text may be uploaded for processing or AI responses.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have permission to transcribe the audio you play.

5. AI Features and Limitations

AI responses are generated using third-party providers such as OpenAI.

AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete.

Prof should not be used for:

• Medical

• Legal

• Financial

• Safety-critical decisions

We are not liable for AI-generated content.

6. Data Storage and Deletion

Your transcripts and AI interaction history may be stored on our servers until you delete them.

7. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with:

• OpenAI

• Azure

• Firebase

• Langfuse

• Pinecone

These services may process limited data necessary for providing functionality.

8. Intellectual Property

Prof, including its features, branding, and content, is owned by PLEASEPROF PRIVATE LIMITED.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the App.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for violating these Terms or misusing the App.

You may stop using the App at any time.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Prof is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI responses or uninterrupted operation.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• Indirect or consequential damages

• Loss from AI responses

• Loss of data

Your use of the App is at your own risk.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after updates means acceptance.
